What Year Was The Yo Yo Produced?

Yo Yo is an ancient toy and it dates back to as early as 500 BC. Even though these toys were not being commercially produced till mid 18th century. Yo Yo was commercially produced in the United States of America in the year 1866. The patent of the toy was issued to James Haven and Charles Hettrich. Yo Yo was produced under the name whirling. Yo Yo became very popular and the scale of production highly increased in the year 1928 when Filipino American named Pedro Flores open a Yo Yo manufacturing company in California. They were handmade at first, traditionally made out of wood, metal and terra cotta, painted in several designs. The Yo Yo manufacturing company produced 300,000 Yo Yo everyday and employed 600 workers.
