First of all you should be patient..and don`t smell many perfumes in the shop..that will mix all the smells...if you really like one put some like test and go for while walking. If you really feel you are comfortable for this smell go and take it.... Its so wrong to take the perfume immediately because its smell will change after a while and maybe you`ll not like it..goodluck

There are many ways to wear perfume and generally it varies from person to person, Avod dabbing it on your wrists since this is easily washed away when washing your hands. On the neck line, collar bone and behind the ears is an ideal place to dab perfume (taking care if you are wearing a self 'fake' tan since this can make the colour run/smudge). If using a spray perfume then spraying sparingly on the upper body and clothes ensures the scent wafts as you move as the perfume gets into the fabric of your clothes and does not evaporate as quickly as on the skin (be careful if wearing silk garments).

Choosing a perfume that suits you, and is within your budget, is the most important part of this.
First of all, make a list of the kind of smells you like, do you prefer a sharp clean smell like citrus, sandalwood, vetiver,or do you prefer spicy smells like cinnamon, clove, wild iris and roses.
Others prefer heavier musky smells, or sweet chocolate and vanilla bean.
There are also forest and oceanic scents.
You must decide by testing some of them on yourself, at your counter.
Perfume oils react differently on people's skins.
You should however, wear something lighter in the day, sprayed on yourself around the neck, elbow and wrist pulse points, and then get dressed, to prevent it from staining your clothes.
At night you could wear something richer or more concentrated, like eau de parfum not eau de toilet, which is less concentrated.
