When Was The Comedian Steve Coogan Born?

    Steve Coogan was born on 14 October 1965, in Middleton in Greater Manchester. He is best known for his creation of the character Alan Partridge, who was played by Coogan himself.

    Alan started out with his own television show called 'Knowing Me, Knowing You', and then the first series of 'I'm Alan Partridge' was released in 1997, along with a second series in 2002.

    He also created the characters Duncan Thickett, Tony Saxondale, Tony Ferrino.


    Coogan has also starred in a number of films such as 'The Wind in the Willows' and 'Around the World in 80 Days'. He also co-wrote the film 'The Parole Officer'.

    Coogan has been listed as one of the 50 funniest acts in Britain by The Observer, and also one of the top 20 greatest comedy acts in 2005.
