Can Drinking Beer Make You Gain Wait?

Pretty much anything except water has calories. Calories make you gain weight if you eat more than you burn (through exercise, etc.). Fruit juice has more than 100 calories in a glass, as do milk and soda. I'm not a beer drinker, but I'm willing to say that there's at least that many calories in beer.

You're darn right it does!  A 12 ounce can of beer (not light beer)contains 153 calories, a third of which comes from carbohydrates, and almost two thirds from alcohol.  How many beer drinkers have only one beer?  It adds up.

Beer definitely has a lot of calories.  Like robbier said, how many beer lovers have just one beer?  If you have an occasional beer or two, it shouldn't make you gain weight.  But beer goes down so well with pizza, mexican food, chips, etc., etc., all the high calorie foods.

Yup the alcohol makes you swell up especially your stomach.

I'm afraid so. I have a major beer belly to prove it.
