What Can I Do For Fun In Leicester? (I Don't Like Pubs And Clubs)

Leicester is thriving city, with a vivid entertainment assortment and lots and lots to do.

The city has the Roman Wall called Jewry Wall along with a museum attached at St.Nicholas Circle.

For an amazing country walk, try Bradgate Park, get directions from the city.  Inside the part is Abbey Park, a smaller but no less attractive walk.

Sport - Tigers, Foxes, Panthers, Riders - we've got the lot, Leicester Tigers are a hugely exciting and successful rugby team that play at Welford Road Ground, Leicester City Football Team struggle on but have a fantastic ground at the Walkers Stadium, Panthers play American Football and Riders are the City's basketball team.  Check out their websites for more.

Comedy - Every year there is a comedy festival with huge names, check out De Montfort Hall for details.

Just outside the City, but easy to get to is The Meridian Leisure park at Thorpe Astley hosts a number of restaurants, a large cinema, bowing alley and fast food 'restaurants'.
