The condom if broken during sex can not live inside. It usually burst from penis head and keeps sticking on penis and goes out if the penis withdrawn. There are very rare chances that the condom is lost inside vagina. If the condom was put off in the vagina then it can not stay there. You can feel its presence in vagina.

As has already been stated, the condom should not stay inside. If you feel that it still is, then you need to do what oldoc says.

If a condom is lost in the vagina it will usually slip out eventually as each time a lady empties her bladder or bowels the vagina shortens and will dump something slippery like a condom but not true of a tampon. If any doubt of a lost condom, a lady can squat down, then place two fingers in her vagina and bear down hard like she is having a bowel movement. This will force the contents of her vagina to come down to the introitus (muscle opening) where she can grab it. Old Doc
