How Do You Save Files To A CD?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Right click on the CD writer drive or DVD writer drive, and choose properties. In the properties, you come across several drives. Choose the last tab which is known as the "recording tab." You should select "enable CD recording." Click "apply" and then OK.

Let us say you have some files in the folder of a particular drive. Assuming you have to save the files from this folder, right click on this folder and choose "copy."  "Paste" it to the CD writer drive. On the left side of your computer screen, you will see a small window which says "write these files to a CD." Once you click on this, you will get "Welcome to the CD writing wizard." It may prompt you to put an empty writable disc if you have not inserted it inside the drive. Follow the instructions which follow later to save the files to a CD.
