    When A Person Sits Down On Our Toilet It Moves Up And Down. How To Secure It?

    It can be because of two reasons either seat's bolts might be loose or
    toilet seat can have cracks. For loosed seat bolts, Just tighten the
    nuts underneath the seat. If bolts are rusted, apply oil to them.
    If the bolts are damaged, just replace them same size bolts. For cracked seat you need to replace it with new one of same size (length and width), And remember to cut water supply to it when changing seat. Just loosen the nuts as mentioned above and lift up the seat and place the new seat and tighten the nuts.

      There are 2 other reasons it could be:

      1) The wax ring needs replacing.
      2) The flange is bad.

      We had problem 2 and tightened the bolts, but that cracked the toilet and we had to replace it.

      During the replacement process, the plumber said the flange was the problem and replaced that as well.
