My Puppy Has Had His First Two Injection Is That All He Needs Or When Does He Need Another?

Answer Question

Puppies start their distemper/parvo vaccination series at 6-8 weeks of age.  The series continues with a vaccination every 3-4 weeks until the puppy is 16 weeks old.  Rabies vaccination is given at 3-6 months pending local laws.  Older puppies (older than 16 weeks) require 2 boosters of the distemper/parvo vaccination; these are given 3-4 weeks apart.
Talk to your veterinarian about further vaccines your dog may need pending lifestyle and diseases prevalent in your area.
