When Is The Serpentine Gallery Open?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Serpentine Gallery of London houses some of the most wonderful pieces of art and architecture, founded by the Arts Council of Britain in 1970. It is located in the surroundings of Kensington Gardens and is adjacent to the Hyde Park. It is one of the most popular places for visitors in London. One of the popular exhibits at the gallery is a work by poet and artist Ian Hamilton Finlay. This work includes a tree-plaque, a carved stone circle at the Gallery's entrance, and a set of eight benches and is dedicated to Princess Diana who was a patron of the gallery.

About 590,000 visitors come to see the gallery every year. The address is Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, London W2 3XA. It is open daily from 10AM till 6PM and admission is free. However it remains closed on several days around Christmas and New Year time so one must call and make sure if one is planning to visit this gallery around that time of the year.
