Answer Question

The term "dietary aid" is a broad term that refers to any type of drug or device that assists or helps in the process of loosing weight. It can include anything from appetite suppressant medication, anti-obesity drugs, energy bars, nutritional supplements, exercise equipment or hypnotherapy devices. An entire industry has grown up around peoples' desire to loose weight, and look and feel good. Certain special milkshakes and foods that are used in weight loss programs act as dietary aids by forcing the body to burn more calories. These sorts of aids are believed to increase the amount of calories being burnt by twenty percent, but they are mostly effective over a short period of time. Appetite suppressants, as the name suggests, kill or diminish the appetite of a person.
