Hello again! Politics again! I know it, it's on the tip of my brain!......I know they
    are an atheistic party.......Not nice!

ROTFL! That's Rasputin. Nice try. I appreciate the fact that you took a shot at my questions. I have a very specific reason for asking each of them, but I need more responses before I can reveal my reason. Thanks.

Believe it is a community who shares everything.

Like back in the sixties in America when people were forming groups and living together, sharing responsibilities and  views on life as a whole.

If you lived in the commune, you abided by the rules of the community whether you agreed with them or not.

words---wondering if their meaning had simularities! Hmmmm.......

Communism as I understand it is theoretically a form of government where everyone is equal no more no less EVERYONE. This is accomplished through the establishment of communes where everyone is assigned a certain job and all chip in equally and thus reap the fruits of their labor equally. Theoretically this would be close to utopian. But ,it seems do to human nature and greed  someone always has to spoil it by becoming more influential than their supposed peers and becoming a dictator. Now the fruits of the laboring peers are controlled by a man or group of men in power and it is no longer communistic it is more socialistic because the equality issue is evaporated the minute someone takes control of everything.

Sorry -took so long.  I don't know if I'm qualified to answer this question since History was my worst subject.  It conjures up memories of "The Twelve Chairs" and a void when it comes to freedom of religion.  Words like "Wallace" kick in for some reason as does the cold war, both which seem to have all but vanished. I do not remember text books on the concept of Communism in any detail whatsoever, only that it fails, it's wrong, and it's un-American.  I think most people would think of Communism as an society that lives on a level plateau way of thinking, no keeping up with the Jone's or worse yet competing with them.  I've often been 'for' a society that purchases consumables at the same price everywhere thereby giving some chance to the new Mom and Pop business to survive.  I would rather a system where businesses make their profits on better quality, better service, or even a better environment for other citizens to work in.  I tire of checking the ads for who is undercutting who and returning things to recover $50 because of an ad campaign by a competitor.  It wastes my gasoline and time.  I'd rather go Joe's who's place is cleaner and the people more knowledgable.  This would compel others to 'raise the bar' in terms of quality rather than sell items at a discount because of their ability to buy in bulk.  [Something not available to the start-up business.]  On my latter point I've been shot down repeatedly so I don't expect much agreement on it. I guess the chance for one person to make millions with just an idea overides my chain of thinking.  The incentive would also be lost to push the envelope on advancements in technology I'd suppose...or would it?

Dear Soundman, perhaps you already know that our friend Robbier44, passed away two weeks ago tomorrow. I do not mean to speak for her, but I know she would appreciate that you took the care and effort for such a complete answer to her question.
