How Do I Teach A 1st Grade Child To Answer Questions In Writing?
The answers need to have a part of the question in them. These are questions on their reading tests.

1st graders are just learning how to write. It may very difficult for them to form written answers before learning to write a b c.

My first graders came to me already knowing how to write ABC's, read 107 sight words, and many other skills. They are ready to learnhow to write a sentence. Check out WV's CSO's. I think you will see how much further ahead we are then most would believe.
