There are around 6800 different types of verbal (oral) languages in the world. There are about 200 different countries in the world and each country has multiples languages. The use of all languages is only one. I.e. Communication.
Some languages are non-verbal, e.g. Programming languages in computers, communication with hands and eyes, etc.
