1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating
Intel Celeron Motherboards and Intel Pentium Motherboards are both a product of the Intel Company. There are a lot of things that are common between these two products and a lot of things that are different. Following are some of the points:
Differences:
- The Celeron Chip is actually based on the Pentium Core.
- The Celeron Chips have a low Cache memory as compared to Pentium chips.
- The cache memory affect the performance of the computer that is why Pentium performs better.
- The Pentium chips run at a higher clock speed as compared to the Celeron chips. The difference can be as much as 60 percent.
- Pentium Chips also have a higher maximum bus speeds than the Celeron processor.
