    The US Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Legislative Branch is said to be one of the twelve subcommittees of the US Senate Committee on Appropriations.

    The main objective of this committee is to finance operations of the US House of Representatives as well as the United States Senate.

    The subcommittee advocates the funding of many shared organizations of Congress, which also include Library of Congress, US Capitol Police, Congressional Budget office, Government Accountability office, etc. According to customs, the House of representatives does not supervise or advocate funding levels for the Senate and neither does the Senate recommend financial support for the House.

    Every senator gets an allowance for official expenses, which also comprises of hiring of the staff and bureau management which he can make use of when required.
