Dinnerladies first aired on BBC One in 1998 and ran on until 2000. Victoria Wood co-produced, wrote, and also starred in the sitcom, which had a total of 16 episodes.
The show centered around the caterers and regular customers in a factory called HWD Components.
The show also starred Julie Walters, who has starred alongside Victoria Wood various times, including their comedy sketch show 'Wood and Walters', which had a pilot episode in 1981 and then a series in 1982.
Each episode had a running time of 30 minutes, and the series had a number of running jokes some of which appear in every episode.
