A "Dead" car battery is often just discharged or drained of power. If this is the problem them just recharging it should work. But when a battery is really dead then it will not fully recharge and there is no practical way to fix it.
In any case the best way to recharge a battery is slowly with a battery charge. Should take at least 10 hours, maybe more.
If after all this the battery voltage is less then 12.6 the battery is really dead and should be replaced.
