No servicewomen have been awarded the Victoria Cross (VC) so far. However, so far five Americans, 96 Australians, one Belgian, 90 Canadians, one Ceylonese (Sri Lankan), four Danes, 615 English, one Fijian, two Germans, one Grenadan, 29 Indians, 168 Irish, one Kenyan, 11 Nepalese, 24 New Zealanders, two Newfoundlanders (that takes the total number of Canadian nationals to receive the VC to 92 as Newfoundland is now a province in Canada), three Rhodesians (Zimbabweans), 159 Scottish, one Sikkimese (that takes the total number of Indian nationals to receive the VC to 30 as Sikkim is now a state in India), 21 South Africans, one Swede, one Swiss, one Ukrainian, 25 Welsh and three West Indian servicemen have won the Victoria Cross.

The statistics for the English, Irish, Rhodesian, Scottish, South African, Welsh and West Indian Victoria Cross recipients is incomplete. The Victoria Cross has also been awarded to 82 people of uncertain nationality. Out of these, 29 people served in various cities and towns across India during various wars.
