Should Schools Allow Students To Chew Gum During Class?

Chewing  gum  is ok unless  it is being disruptive to the like blowing bubbles stretching and pulling it of there mouth and playing then it should go in the garbage. Some chew gum to keep their mouth wet  may be do to medication. Each case is different. It should be left up to the teacher

Obviously .. Brain works better when chewing gum I do chew gum over here

Teachers need to get over themselves kids chew it to stay awake during their boring lessons.

No and yes because one people have to pick it up if you leave under desks and on the floor on on lockers. Yes because really smart people said that mint gum helps the brain work and keep you on task.

Well people stick gum under desk's and on lockers and floors and one girl in my class experienced that . And scientists believe that mint gum can help you focus and concentrate on a test so I say yes and no!

Well gum of any kind improves memory and helps you focus... Lets say in class you are really tired and cant focus on what the teacher is telling them...gum helps them focus. Some people will sit through class trying to learn the lesson but the next will have no idea how to do it... Gum helps them remember too. Since gum helps test scores and gets you better grades... Why would a teacher hold you back from that??? Do they want you to fail??? Chewing gum can change your future since you get better grades... You can get better colleges and job offers... Why would a teacher Not let you have that opprutunity????

Yes gum should be permitted in classrooms because it gets you focused and helps you  recsit starvation.:)

Duh. I always chew gum in class. It helps me concentrate and stay awake in boring classes.
