    Is It Legal To Collect Arrears After 20+ Years? Is There A Way These Charges Against Me Can Be Fought?

    I am a 50 year old man paying child support arrears for 2 grown children. They are now in their 20s. Very successful, married w/children, drive BMWs, own their own homes and their mom still insists on punishing me by collecting this arrears from 20 years ago. Can't something be done to end this?

    The funds should be forwarded to their mother not the the very successful adult children. She is able to collect them and unless she tells the state and signs off on it then no I don't believe you can get out of it good luck.
