Can A Plant In The Light Grow More Than A Plant In The Dark?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

No, actually if a plant grew in the dark then its growth process would be much faster than a plant in the light because a dark-grown plant doesn't need to produce chlorophyll or leaves for photosynthesis (due to lack of sunlight). Although a plant in the dark may grow faster, it wouldn't be as healthy as a plant grown in the light.

I think it will grow better in the light because
plants need sun water oxygen and soil for it to grow
