    A 720 Ml Container Holds A Mixture Of Red, Yellow, And White Paint In A 5 : 3 : 12 Ratio. How Much More Red Paint Than Yellow Is Present In The Mixture?

    There isn't much more for me to add except I haven't a clue to the answer above!! As you can see...this wasn't one of my strongest subjects hahaha Any help would be so appreciated!! Thank Kacylane

    Add ratios 5:3:12 you get 20; multiply each color by its ratio and divide by 20:

    Red=720*5/20 = 180
    Yellow=720*3/20 = 108
    White=720*12/20 = 432

    180 + 108 + 432 = 720

    Red – Yellow = 180-108 = 72ml more red
