You aren't doing anything wrong, it is just that your car is a Ford.

I have the same problem. Only I had to replace the fuel pressure sensor 3 times now in a 2 week span, and my car still runs like crap. I have owned 3 Fords and all of them have problems compounded by more problems.

Get a Nissan or a Honda IF you don't want to get dollar(ed) to death by your Ford
