What Are The Small Red Bumps On The Outside Of My Vaginal Area?
I recently visited my gynaecologist and was worried about small red bumps on the outside only of the vaginal area. What I thought appeared to be blisters she assured me weren't. She explained that it was due to a viral infection that isn't really explainable by her. I have never seen this before in that region. She explained that if I hadn't shaved, that I'd probably had never noticed. I shave often, and this was not razor burn either. I notice they are still present and it's been about 6 weeks since they've appeared.

If the answer did not satisfy you it is ok to consult another Doctor. I made the mistake of lining my hair with a razor and bumps, I got them.
There were unpleasant to look at and had only a bit of discomfort but they did eventually go away. Perhaps you should find another way of removing the hair.

Assuming you practice safe sex and it's not an std and your consultant offered no logical go and see your family planning nurse I'm sure they may help
