Did Howard Hunt Confess To A Role In The Kennedy Assassination?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    E. Howard Hunt, a veteran CIA operative and convicted Watergate burglar, died in 2007. He had been at death's door some years before, however, and, when he felt that he did not have much longer to live, allegedly made a confession to his son, Saint John, which implicated him in a conspiracy to murder President Kennedy.

Saint John claims to have audio and video recordings in which his father describes the conspiracy and the political background which led some very powerful people to decide that Kennedy had to be removed.

Saint John Hunt recently allowed a 4-minute recording, apparently of his father's voice, to be aired on the American radio show, Coast to Coast AM. In it, his father paints a picture of a plot conceived by Lyndon Johnson, whom he describes as having an "almost maniacal" desire to be President, and orchestrated by Cord Myer, with whose wife Kennedy had conducted an affair. Hunt described himself as no more than a "bench-warmer" in the operation.
