Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. Like for working or talking to customers about selling a product it would be amazing. It would be even great to have this skill while presenting something important to judge if the boss will fire you or keep you. But when you are talking with your friends then it is a kind of burden.

The answer would be a toss up,because sometimes it would be helpful and at other times it may not be a hinderence to you and the person also,just as we see now when trying to help someone and they see it as other than help.....

I am answering another of your questions. But that is because I really like them.
I would love to be able to read people's mind. This way I would know what is in their mind. Actually I have a lot of experience of two faced and hypocrite people. They say one thing and have something else in their minds. They would be sweet to you on your face but would stab you at soon as they an opportunity.
I would like to be able to read other people's mind because this way I would know who to trust and who not to trust. I could judge people in a better manner this way.
