    The book 'Hunting for hidden gold' is part of the Hardy Boys series. The author of this book is Franklin W. Dixon. However this is also the pseudonym for the real author. The man behind this book is really Leslie McFaren.

    This book is the fifth book in the series of the Hardy Boys. Published by Grosset and Dunlop Company in the year 1930. This book was among the earlier Hardy Boys books and is among the most read book among children. It is an all time best seller and it ranked 111 in the children's books best selling list.

    This book has sold more than a million copies and the number keeps rising. In this book the main plot is that the Hardy Boys are in Montana trying to solve and investigate the claim of gold made by two people named Mike and Bart. Both are minors and claim to have found the gold first, however both are giving a complete different tale. Thus while the boys are trying to find out the actual truth they meet another bigger villain or the main villain in this story, big Al. Throughout the book they find clues and discover spies and their true identities and get to the bottom.

    In the end they defeat the villain and return peace to Montana. This book makes for quite an interesting read and is available practically everywhere. So if you seek to read this book then just run down to the nearest book store where you can easily avail a copy.
