What Was The Rocket Neil Armstrong Landed The Moon On?

Answer Question

You have the question a bit wrong. Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, he didn't land the moon.  :-) So, I assume you meant the other way around.

The rocket that the crews for all of the Apollo moon missions used was the Saturn V rocket.

They used a LEM or Lunar Excursion Module to land on the moon itself. In the case of Apollo 11 the LEM was called Eagle.

    Hope this answers your question.
