What Do Insurance Officers Do?

There are two types of insurance:

1-life insurance:-
                          provides investments for your life in case you face an accident or for disability protection

2-general insurance:-
                             covers a lot of fields like damages by fire,water, or theft of goods, sickness, liability cover,etc.

Insurance officers are responsible for:

a)Correspondence of the processes of different agents and brokers.

b) Monitoring of the balances of accounts.

c) Issue,receive and check the insurance forms.

d)Prepare checks, signs and dispatch of cheques.

e)Maintain the statistical details of accounts.

f)Also sending of notices of premium.

g)Advice on technical matters to the individuals.

h)Process the claims and grant of loans.

i)They assess sickness and accident claims

j)They maintain and update computer records

SPECIALIZATIONS:

Insurance officers perform a variety of tasks.They within an organization checks the status of monthly incomes and pay somehow for the losses(the assets which are insured are granted by the insurance companies). On individual basis mostly these insurance officers communicate with the people through their agents who are responsible for motivating people to insure their life for better future.
