The countryside around Chippenham includes of beautiful and vibrant places like Bird's Marsh, Vincients Wood and Briars Wood.
Birds Marsh which is around 24 hectares in size, is located to the north and is outside the city of Chippenham, Wiltshire in England. It is a very big woodland. There are different kinds of wildlife found here. This woodland is called "Birds", since its origin as a descent as a game-bird preserve and "Marsh", since the land turns out to be too marshy after the rains. One of the most common species found here is the Roe deer, which is a total roaming animal, and sometimes walks into villages without even noticing that it's not their land!!!
The Vincent wood is a natural reserve that occupies the land to the far west of the town of Chippenham, Wiltshire. The flora and fauna found here are plenty. The flora found here is the Grey Squirell, Chiffchaff, Goldcrest, Blackcap, Speckledw wood, to name a few and the fauna found here are Maple, Hazel, Wayfaring Tree, White Wood Anemone, Lesser Celandine, Honeysuckle, etc.
