Ferens Art Gallery establised in 1927 is located in the English town of Kingston-upon Hull. This art gallery holds a collection of sculptures and paintings of the medieval period until the present day.
Some of the most attractive elements of this art gallery are portraiture, marine paintings, new age and contemporary British art and works of the European Old Masters, particularly Dutch and Flemish. This gallery also includes a video, which is one of its strong strength. The excellent masterpieces are by the famous fine art talents like Frans Hals, Antonio Canaletto, Stanley Spencer, David Hockney, Helen Chadwick and Gillian Wearing.
The other attractive feature is the Children's Gallery, which holds events programme, this programme consist of talks, art workshop and tours.
