Why Do The People In Belize Primarily Speak English?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Belize is a country in Central America. There are over two hundred sixty thousand people live in Belize. Belmopan is the capital of Belize. Belize is surrounded by Spanish speaking countries. However, Belize is an English Speaking country. This is due to the fact that Belize was a colony of Great Britain, while the neighboring countries were colonies of Spain. The many differences of these countries would stem from this fact.
