Why Money Cannot Bring Happiness?

Money can make us happy.but we can't buy happiness

The only way it could not bring happiness is if the concept of currency never existed or if you have never experienced a life threatening or just extreme lack of money, like how there isn't light without dark or good without evil (or societies perception, but that's another question) :p and what if you simply enjoy money itself?

I tell you what, having no money makes people depressed and even suicidal, anyone who says it cannot buy you happiness has never truely experienced going without shelter, food, medicine, dentistry, etc etc etc... Getting into semantics with Bonita here just a tad, if something comes with a purchase is as if you bought it right?... Well surely happiness comes with anything you purchase that alters life positively, from making it more livable to making it easier or more enjoyable. Would this not be considered as purchase of happiness, and if you don't buy that line, how about a Happy Meal? At least it has the word happy in it, you even get a toy! Woot. :D this is not to say that money is the only way to attain happiness, obviously it is not, but for the sake of argument I firmly believe currency is one of the main things that effects emotion (at least to anyone that is not rich).

It would also seem that conversely not all money buys you happiness, some buys frustration, anger, sadness, failure, and possibly even your own death. Strangely enough despite money being able to save or ruin your own life it also has the ability to effect others. You can buy things for others that make them feel certain ways, and just as easily purchase things for yourself that have the same effect saving money. There is even buying non-physical things like the alteration of troublesome facts, rules, and laws, or things that include effects to other peoples emotions and well being (these ones actually are more potent the more money you have).

In summary You + Money = Purchase (which includes Happy, sometimes...)
