Believe it or not the easiest way is to take the bed off. That way you don't have to drop the tank. Then you can pull the pump from the tank and replace it without a bunch of headaches literally from possibly banging your head into the frame of the truck from taking the tank down from underneath the truck.i think it is 6 bolts to take the bed off and disconnect the tail light wiring harness and the filler neck from the bed. Get a couple of friends to help lift it off and set it on the ground or on a set of saw horses covered with some scrap carpet. www.ehow.com
