Which Player Holds The Record For The Most FA Cup Goals In A Career?

    The record held for the most FA cup goals scored in a career belongs to former Notts County player Harry Cursham.  

    Cursham set the record at the end of the nineteenth centuary and in a twelve year playing career he found the net forty nine times in the FA cup.  

    Ian Rush is the most prolefic modern day player and the Welshman bagged forty four gials for three different clubs in a nineteen year career.  Rush scored thirty nine times for Liverpool in the FA cup, four times for Chester City and he also scored once whilst playing for Newcastle United at the end of his career.

    Rush became the second highest goal scorer in the FA cup after over taking former Manchester United and Scotland legend Denis Law.  Law scored forty one goals in the FA cup for three sides, Manchester United, Huddersfield Town and Manchester City in a playing career spanning three decades.
