What Are Vampires?

Vampires are mythological beings that are known to survive by drinking blood from humans or sometimes animals. They are usually the "walking dead" as they are corpses that have come back to life to feed on the blood of human beings that are still alive.

Oc4ever gives a good worldly definition of what a vampire is, however I have studied that there are some people known as psychic vampires.  You have probably known one or two, and most never realize what they are.  Have you ever been in a room, and someone walks in down and depressed, they see you, speak to you and walk away all smiles with a bounce in their step, only now you feel drained of energy and listless?  Guess what, you've just been fed off of... And funny thing is, these people tend to be master manipulators as well, almost as if they can shadow your will to some degree with their own.

Vampires are fictitious blood sucking creatures of the night.Through the centuries vampires have been projected in different ways.In the olden times,people used to portray them as beasts and anyone suspected of being one would get a stake driven through their heart.The concept of vampires actually originated from Bramstoker's novel "Count Dracula".In the Modern age fiction writers like Kim Harrison & Laurell K. Hamilton portray them as powerful creatures who can take on any beasts such as werewolves with their psychic abilities.

Some people think vampires are extremely beautiful, cold, fast, strong, and sometimes have abilities. They also supposedly for this theory sparkle in the sunlight, Others believe that vampires are cold but have fangs and otherwise are much like humans who drink human blood and burn in the sun. I believe they are the first type of vampire.
