How Do You Match Colours?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

You will have to follow certain steps to perform the job of a colour match and if you intend to do the visual colour match the first thing you should do is to take some samples that are oriented which makes the surface characteristics as same. If you find that the sample you have is glossy and the reference is matte or even vice versa you should simply angle all the samples away so that you can eliminate the effect of gloss. By doing this you can minimize the attributes that the samples have and your colour can match with perfection.

Sometimes you will find that the samples appear different which is avoidable and he reason that is cited for the phenomenon is characteristics of the surface.
