How To Unlock A Motorola V170?

If the phone itself is locked, what you will need is called a "Subsidy Unlock Code".

This code is unique to the specific phone. It is assigned by the original service provider the phone was manufactured for.  The phone CAN NOT be used on another carrier's network and activated without the ORIGINAL carrier's permission.

Since that phone was originally manufactured for TracPhone, they are  the only source that will have this code's unblock information.

You will have to find TracPhone's main customer service phone number to call and request the "SUC" code.

If your display is showing "PUK code needed", you will still need to contact TracPhone for the specific unlock needed for the SIM card.
