Interpersonal communication is a type of communication in which a person / persons are communicating with one or more sets of person/ persons.  It empowers the occurrence of interaction that is necessary for human survival as it espouses the inevitable phenomenon of interdependence.  Moreover, it is backed by verbal messages that allow human beings to produce messages about the things and events going on within themselves and about things and events that are going on beyond their immediate presence and their immediate time. Interpersonal communication could be an act, an event, a set of activities.  It is not something static and at rest.  It is a perpetually continuing process.  Everything involved in interpersonal communication is in a state of change.  We, the people with whom we are communicating, our environment and the entire world, all of these components that are incessantly involved in the phenomenon of interpersonal communication, are changing.
