Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In the year of 1980, Carl Hiaasen thought of pursuing his age old ambition of becoming a writer. He always wanted to be the one to write crime related novels. During that time he was also working with the Miami Herald and continued writing columns for the newspaper.  His ultimate dream was to write books on crimes and investigation which eventually came true when he met his fellow co-worker and journalist, Bill Montalbano. He wrote three novels along side Bill Montalbano which were Power Burn released in 1980, Trap Line released in 1981 and A Death in China in 1986. These three books gave a lot of recognition to Carl which pursued him to write more books.

His books are mostly related to mystery and thriller nature and he also sometimes writes about the facts happening in and around the state of Florida.
