Life cycle is the period involving one generation of organisms by the means of production, either through sexual or asexual reproduction. There are three types of life cycles including haplontic life cycle, diplontic life cycle and diplobiontic life cycle. These types of life cycles show alternating haploid and all germinates. In the case of the plants the life cycle starts from the germination of embryo to the development of the adult plant. In animals life cycle starts from the development of zygote to the adult stages.

A life cycle is the cycle of life. You were born, go through changes, you get old, then you die. If you have kids the cycle of your generation will continue to live on and on forever.
