Both! The mini blinds keep the sunlight out for the best sleep. The drapes serve 2 purposes--
1. The keep the light out that comes in around the edges of the blinds.
2. They just make the room look better!

Draperies are dust collectors. I think mini=blinds are great. They keep out the sun, are easy to take care of, relatively inexpensive and last a long time.

I like having both. Sometimes the drapes to a better job than the blinds, and vice versa. I like to have options!
