What Does Girth Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Girth is considered to be a circumference of any kind of cylindrical object. In terms of graph theory, the girth of a chart is the measurement lengthwise of the shortest round limited in the graph. This girth is defined as something that is infinity. It also means to encircle.

The word girth could also refer to something in size or something that is bulk. An example would be 'an individual of big girth.' It is derived form the Middle English word 'gerth'.
