How To Get A Canary From Being Bored?

I certainly am not an expert on birds, but do you think that getting another canary might brighten him up a bit?  Maybe when he was at the pet store, he got used to being around other birds, and now he'd like a companion.  Like I said, I'm not an expert on birds, but I thought this could be a reasonable solution.  Good luck, I hope he's back to his old self, soon!

Get him another canary - he is probably very lonely. Canaries are really the kind of birds who like the company of other birds.

Get another canary, but if you can't, then get a couple of little mirrors to put in the cage, to make him feel that there are others with him. Hope this helps.

Try putting a mirror in it and a bird bath and companionship is important too!
