It really depends on the severity of the cancer stage. Different people with different immune systems. Also the ability to fight and to respond to treatment are all different ans we are all different

In the last 6 months my wife was diagnosed with a lump in her breast....since then she has had a lumpectomy...and told the cancer had spread to her liver.
She has had chemotherapy ...which they stopped half way through as it wasn't working....now she is having radiotherapy to her ovaries to try and slow things down......no-one will give a timescale....but the prognosis is poor....
A nurse in cancer care told us she never knew anyone live longer than 5 years.....but she was optimistic
months is more realistic....even without symptoms

If the liver is over half filled with cancer and did not respond to chemo how long could one expect to liver?

My husband has colon cancer and it has went to liver and lungs. I want to know why doctors are taken their time to start the meds?
