Does a person who lives in NJ but works in NY have to pay the NYC resident tax? Is this the right breakdown for a NJ Employee working in NY? FITW MED NY SIT OASDI

    no I would not think so because you are not living in ny you are just working there. I know that I used to work in philly but lived in lansdale and i had to pay there tax. I cannot remember what it was it came out of my paycheck but with that i did not have to pay my 1% berkheimers tax because i already paid in philly. Hope this helps

      You have to pay a non-resident NYC tax.
