The best way to achieve the extraordinary is to do the little things, extra-ordinarily well. As Senior Consultant you are in a position to lead, shove or push others toward greater heights. You set the tone for success or failure. You can decide, which will be your goal: You will lead those under you to greater heights by example. You will not ask of them, what you are unwilling to do yourself. You will command respect by modeling respect. You will be honest, open to suggestions, approachable and supportive. You will instill a desire to achieve by being a cheerleader for your staff. Your door and your heart will be open to those who need encouragement and all will stand taller because you am present to lead them. You  can choose this direction or you can choose to be the opposite.

You can be demanding, inconsiderate, intolerant of those under you. You can sit at your desk as one served or as the servant of others. You can create an atmosphere of negativeness or an atmosphere of positiveness. You can choose to be the boss or you can choose to be bossy! You can let your staff know from the beginning you will not be looking over their shoulders watching for mistakes. Once you tell them what is expected, step out of their way and allow them to do their jobs. Your staff can make you or break you and it all depends upon you.
