This German city of about 300,00 people is a great city to live in, situated where the Rhine and Nekar Rivers join, it has many cultural activities to enjoy, including walking over the bridges to a coffee house or bookstore to enjoy the intellectual flavour of this city.
It is set out in a grid pattern of broad streets, and is described as a clean and airy city, both by it's in habitants, and visitors to it.
There are many lovely gardens to stroll in or enjoy the spring sunshine in, and a Chateau owned by the Grand Duke, which itself has beautiful gardens, and a cathedral.
The city hosts a film festival, there is also a good theatre were plays and events are staged.
There are many young professionals in this city, and it has a good vibe for a young person to enjoy, the houses, apartments, office buildings and public spaces are spacious and well thought out. I am sure you will have no problem making new friends.
