It was cured by Japanese officers by adding fish, meat, vegetables and barley to their usual ration of rice.
Generally we are careless about what we eat and what we would eat. We remove that part of wheat which is rich in vitamins. We do this first by chemicals bleaching of flour in mills and then by sifting it. Since we carefully remove all vitamins from our food, it becomes necessary to buy vitamins in tablets at high price. In fact, we must take the advice of nutritionist. As to what we should exclude or include in our daily food. It is very important if we want to keep the disease away from our houses. Environment also plays important role in maintaining health.
